HAHAHA... still going

Finally, I have finished the main panel for my blanket, it has taken a while being between Paddy time and sleep.

And have started on a border, may come in handy to snuggle under in the Pram

Peepoh. Being cute all in pink. Did I mention Paddy is on 3 squares a day solids?
Yup, and loves it.. and manages about 5, 6oz bottles of Stage 2 (follow on milk) too. That will help wean her off of milk.
Still unsure of Juice (4 month plus)

Here she is sure that she didn't have any lunch, even if the evidence says otherwise.
She is a sucker for fruit cocktail pots and banana porridge.

Oh and this is a Fruitcake I made yesterday lunch whilst Paddy was looking for more food. It only costs 15 points in carbs per slice....  that's good for Molei.

There is only 1/4 of the big one left.
We had invited Mumble and Pops to HOME cooked Sunday roast for the first time in our flat and some cake for pudding

Oh and I must mention, The reason there are no Christmas Deccies up here.
We are going to Southport and spending The festive week up there.
Munbles and Pops decided to go, they didn't want to be home this year.

So, Paddy will be getting an early Christmas day on the Sunday to open her presents from MANX LAND (my family) and Nana Lou AND Christmas day in Southport (we have a suitcase packed with presents and so does Mumbles) along with a fantastic 3 course meal just down the road from where we are staying... (of course I will make sure Paddy gets a roast dinner.. A baby food one and some pudding too, she is a sweet tooth)

A busy week!

Paddy, the little Munchkin that she is has been having a busy week it seems...

Sitting up on her own a little more, Crawling like theres no tomorrow (attacking anything she can grab) and my favorite at the moment, WAVING!

This morning, sitting in her chair after mangos in porridge, Molei popped in to drop off breakfast plate and coffee mug and greeted Paddy with a big smile and a little wave as she was sitting happily chattering away. she looked at him, gave him a big grin and waved back at him.

OOOOOOOO  We are so proud of her!!!!

Activities to make and play with Paddy

Anyone know of any blogs with IDEAS to make and do with babies???

I have spotted an Idea called Sensory Bottles, or Water filled bottles with coloured drops glitter and fun colourful items in almost like snow globes. I like it and would like more Ideas like this.........

Off for a think...

A little lady sits up on her own, and HAS A DEN

In the last post. Paddy was nearly Crawling.

Well I can say she is doing pretty well, She managed to spot my camera (which was filming), next thing I know she is up next to it about to pick it up!

I have some pictures to show, But have yet to figure out how to show a video...

Paddy and I watched Postman Pat yesterday lunch whilst we put the washing away.
She has sooo many clothes to choose from, half of them are for around the flat and bed.

Last night Mummy mocked up a new play area where the only things to bump into are the sofa, wall and a few legs. (chairs and table) oh and daddy when he is at the table.
Paddy explored it a little before bed  then properly at playtime this morning.

This afternoon and this evening was a lot of fun...
Nana Mumble popped round and had picture book time and Paddy was even sitting up on her own until she decided to play lazy.
This evening.. a den has been added to the area...  and all you can hear from Paddy's direction is...
"bink bink bink. choose an activity....... Bink, do do..... how many. EHEH! wrong ans, bink"

SO CLOSE TO CRAWLING.

I managed to get Video footage of Paddy attempting a first crawl. It's so close, I have already had to move the Christmas presents from behind the sofa, into the back room and a few wires that aren't being used have been put in draws.
I will need to get something to put the printer on. It is no longer safe. I may find Photocopies of hands and faces If I am not careful.

I would like to get a better video.
The coaxing with her Fido toy caused me to make the camera rattle too.

I'll see what I can do.

an afternoon out and a bumble bee

But FIRST..... A LITTLE CATCH UP WITH PICTURES...

Little lady catching Zzzzs on the sofa late in the afternoon.

Friday's Attempt at a Banana and spice Molei friendly cake.. (there is only a small amount left)

Paddy deciding Mummy's computer is more interesting than her own  AGAIN.

And Watching the Washing machine on full spin whilst mummy washes dishes.

Today, A little Bumble Bee. Nana Lou (manx girl) sent over a while ago. she finally fits into it...

Our afternoon out was down to Winterbourne House and tea room.
unfortunately It was busier than expected, Santa's grotto, Edwardian toy display and Caroling all very busy for the festive cheer.
The cue was tooo long to go see Santa for the first time, but as you can see, we saw the toys and one or two other rooms around the house after a nice pot of tea and cake (or a small pot of custard in Paddy's case).

I love steam locomotives, all sizes And carousels. When I don't get to have a go on one, there tends to be a pet lip. Even as an adult, they are so beautiful.

this is what I would describe as a drawing room, It's windows look over a large, well groomed garden. Maybe in the warmer months we will go and have a wonder around them.

Ah, the nursery. Myself and Mumble Loved this room, we wished we could go further than the ropes.
We will Visit again, after the new year, it was just a little too busy to stay for long.

A little further and TIME passed Fast

On Sunday the 8th December, Paddy is 6 months old!!!
Where has the time gone??

She is on my lap pressing the odd key, So it is taking me a little longer than it normally would to type.
If I dare put her on the floor to play the end of the world will be nearing.

I will just have to put her in her bed to grump and sleep once it is time for housework.

This was Saturday morning, Playing with Mummy as We decided she still wasn't well enough to go out.
Paddy and I hadn't been out since Sunday afternoon and Yesterday (Sunday) I was chomping at the bit, Molei suggested Reddich because Town is mental around christmas

paddy on Monday morning before a tantrum.

And how far my blankie has got. "TAHDAH"!!!!!!
I have gotten a little further than this picture now... Occasionally having to stop mid row to sort Paddy out or do something else.
I am proud of the fact that this is the biggest project I have done yet and havn't attempted to unravel it.
